Who all is getting ready to graduate here? I graduate on 120604 (TWO DAYS)! Last day of school is today and then its all over. I'll be going to my pre-ship hotel in 17 days. In 18 days, I'll start my receiving. Getting close, but I'll be damned if I'm anything but motivated! GET SOME!

The interesting thing about graduations is that I personally feel that graduating from boot camp meant more to me than any other.
Go figure - 13 years of public school to graduate and 4 years of college to graduate again doesn't mean as much as 3 months of boot camp.
They are all special to me, but becoming a Marine is just in a league of its own.
I always keep in mind, however, that it takes all three of those to be where I am at today. Take just one of those away and who knows.....

enviro: I agree. I'm just glad to be done with public school. I told my family in other states that I'd rather them come to my Marine Corps graduation than the high school.

Congratulations on finishing school, I finish the 21st of June so I still have a few more weeks of my lovely school. Good luck with everything in boot camp bro and remember to continue to stay motivated throughout your 3 months.

I have to graduate out of summer school because i made some dumb@ss decisions. But oh well, what ever it takes to ship Sep 20th i'll do it.

i graduated on june 6 and dang is it nice to be out!
I'll be in San Diego in 10 days!
I graduated the highland high school public school system June 6th! MCRD in 31 days !

I graduated June 2nd and I am leaving to boot camp June 20th, just one more day after this and im off the Parris Island. I CANT WAIT!
