If any had any doubts of who we're fighting on this war on terrorism.
This should end those doubts.
There is no way in hades that we can ever hope to end this war.
Without do the same violence they hope to do us;

Western Airliners May Be al-Qaida Target

CAIRO, Egypt - A statement bearing Al-Qaida's name warned Monday that Western airliners will be the terror group's target.

The statement appeared on an Islamist Web site known for posting messages from militants, including the video in which a terror group with al-Qaida links executed the American kidnapped in Iraq, Nick Berg.

The statement's authenticity could not be immediately verified, but it was signed "Al-Qaida on the Arabian Peninsula."

The statement referred "crusaders" and warned "all that is affiliated with these crusaders _ from compounds, bases and means of transport _ especially Western and American airliners, will be direct targets of our next operations, with God's help."

The statement begins by warning all Muslims to avoid "contact with the American and Western crusaders and all non-believers in the Arabian peninsula." It urges Muslims to ignore Americans and Westerners "in their homes, compounds, movements and means of transport _ in all shapes and forms."

The statement says the purpose of this warning is to spare "our Muslim brothers' blood."

"We act only to protect them, their religion, honor and life," the statement says.

It reiterates its warning to those who work in proximity to Westerners: "We renew our warning to all security personnel, guards of crusader compounds and American bases, and all those that have stood by America and its allies ... We ask them to return to the right path, to separate themselves from non-believers, to become their enemies and to fight holy war against them by money, word and weapon."

"This enemy," the statement goes on to say, "must be fought. There is no other way but to fight it and eradicate it."

We might "eradicate them before they eradicate us"
The French, Germans and the Spaniards best awaken to the realities of life.
There no appeasing this evil...

So where are we going with this? We cannot leave it unattended, but also cannot eradicate the problem. Not for the risk of being like said Austrian.

The roots of the problems in the Middle East, have their roots with nazi regime.
Who murdered and stole the property of mang jews in Europe.
After the war, many had no place to go back to.
Especially in Eastern Europe because the communists had taken over.
So many of those jews went to Palestine.
In 1947 they formed the nation of Israel.
Which was attacked by the arab nations around Israel.
The Israeli's won that war, and the war in 1967.
We have given Israel a lot of support since 1947.
Saddam attack of Kuwait, because he thought the oil they were pumping was Iraqi oil.
Led to Desert Storm and now Iraqi Freedom I and II.
The attacks of the twin towers on 9/11/2001 was what started the United States on this war on terrorism.
I remember reading "The Generals" co authored by General Benard Trainor USMC.
In that book it brings out, that we really didn't have an "end game" on what to do after the defeat of the Iraqi's.
Might that hold true now in Iraq?
Is Iraq the key to solving our problems in the Middle east?
If not, than might we be caught in an endless cycle of war with an evil that seeks to desroy us and the Irsael...

1947 was a year when the seeds of what came to be known to us as the War in Vietnam also were sown.
They came to fruit in 1965.
