Thank You Cook

I received this last week.....When I got it I was not prepared to receive this from the White House.....When I saw the envelope I thought it was some type of advertisement.....When I opened it my wall came crashing down......Roger instilled in Our Children and myself....The Corps Values....Well I lost it that day......My youngest daughter was home that day....She helped me get through the rest of the day..till the rest of the crew came home ...besides a few Marines that knew about it.....

I do need to Thank the Marines, that have helped me through this difficult time....Sending me PM's just asking How I am..or a friendly Hello.and yes even the Marines that send me a joke.....I do appreciate it.....

I'm able to order a few more of this award , that my children will have their own copy.....


It is now hung in my livingroom wall.....

It indeed was an Honor and very deserving for Drifter's service to the Nation.
My uncles who served in World War II got a flat marker for their grave site, I believe that my grandmother must have gotten something similar.
It note worthy that the service of all those who served is remembered...
