who do not know Marine Richard Keech nor his story....

Richard was a pre-WW II China Marine, he defended and was taken by the Japanese on Corregidor and served the remainder of that war in a Japanese POW camp, until MacArthur and a few Marines came back for him.

After the war, Richard married, raised a family, completed college, and as they say, became a productive American citizen. Until about five years ago.

You've just read the remainder of that story above--Richard emptied the magazine.

Richard is a prolific writer--I know, I have been reading his writings for a few years now. Take a look at his website at the bottom of the above post--his previous newsletters are all there--be sure to see his POW Memoirs.
