Just saw the movie, the four feathers. It was well worth seeing.
It brought back some memories of the friendship, heartaches and frustrations I felt in Nam.
But most important the unity I shared in battle with other Marines, on my left and on my right, protecting each other.
I recommend the movie. It would have been all right without the love, chicky stuff thrown in, but I guess that’s what sells.
I think the real friendship revealed was not what was emphasized on the screen.
