It seems just like yesterday, that Nomad aka Sgt. George H. Morrow USMC was giving me an invite to join Leatherneck.com.
Since that invite, the world has changed, Nomad ,MGunz aka MGySgt. Bill Robinson USMC and MSgt L.G "Budd" Buddenhagen USMC have joined the ranks of Marines guarding heaven gates.
A young Marine that I met at MCRD PI on a CPX or Command Post Exercise aka a reunion of sorts, is now a Sergeant of Marines.
On his second deployment to the Middle East.
We pray for his safety and we pray for all those in harm's way.
I gained a grandson and granddaughter since that invite.
Angel has me thinking of what it was like to be a father.
That girl has a healthy set of lungs...oh well that her grandpa talking to himself again...she looks a lot like Rose...
Well, I off to hit the rack for some zzzzz's
