TEL AVIV, Israel, April 14 (UPI) -- Thirty armored Hummers that Israel ordered in the United States will be sent to Iraq instead, the Defense Ministry announced.The ministry's spokeswoman said the United States has asked Israel to agree to delay the deliveries. Israel agreed.The Israeli military uses the Hummers, armored at Ogara, in the occupied territories and along the Lebanese border. Israel will receive its Hummers in August. The spokeswoman said there is "supreme importance in cooperation with the U.S. Army these days, and we will make every effort to respond to every request they will present."
