Good point. Makes you wonder if any of them were even in the service, let alone REMFs.
Kerry's Winter Soldier Hearings, held here in Detroit in 1971, involved lurid tales of butchery and war crimes. Some men who "testified" were later found to be phonies, wannabes, and political operators.
Kerry never disavowed their testimonies, nor questioned the validity of his political project (supported by Hanoi Jane). He went before Senate committees and testified, using that false report he contrived.
