MSgt C. W. Brown

I was shopping in an antique store in Jamestown, CA a few years ago and found a Marine NCO sword with "MSGT C. W. Brown" engraved on the blade in old english script. The owner of the store said that the sword came from the San Franscisco Bay Area. I would like to return this sword to MSgt Brown or his family.
