Do you think Iraq is bluffing on allowing total access for U.N. weapons inspectors?

Gamesmanship and sword rattlin'. Saddam blinked, but I think he figures the U.S.'ll back off. Bush wants him and wants him bad! Saddam hasn't counted on that is my guess!

Oh, we'll go there or start going there and something will come up, where he will say, but that spot over there doesn't count.

But Bush asked for more than just a weapons inspection, those other items have not been addressed by Saddam

Haven’t we learned what happens when we delay action against an Arab nation? It just gives them time to move things and secure things or change the game plan.

Watch they will all now, unite and try to turn our eyes toward Israel and blame Israel for it all...

Someone makes a move and the opposing player counters! I guess it could be like poker too. See who wants to ante up to call a bluff.

I believe that Iraq will give the appearance of cooperation. Soon after, Iraq will be less than cooperative. Then Saddam will wait for the U.N. or U.S. to threaten with military force. At the brink of military operations against his country, Saddam with pledge full cooperation... AGAIN! This strategy can go on and on. I believe that the only message this leader understands is one delivered to his doorstep in the form of military occupation of his country. For nearly ten years, the U.N. has failed to enforce the sanctions imposed at the end of the Gulf War.

Here's something to note. When the war in southwest asia ended, Saddam's generals attended the surrender in the desert. Saddam did not. Do you think this guy ever accepted defeat? He would starve his people in order to rebuild his army. Of course these same citizens were never told of their country's defeat or military losses too. Of course, Saddam blamed the U.S. for trying to deny his people of food and medical supplies. This guy is a master of spin. He will twist things to make himself look like the victim or try to explain his way out of a situation. I don't trust him and neither should the U.N.

.. is he going to let it happen... AS WE SEE FIT. He will stall with talks about who's going to inspect, then how they will inspect. Then where will the inspection be, then how we he be assured that no one is spying on him, then.......

Here's an idea !!

The conditions were 'UNCONDITIONAL', right !!!

Give EACH and every Inspector a PLATOON of M1A1 Abrams, as an escort, where ever he/she (let's be PC here) wants to go. If they can't enter that door, take out the door. If they can't enter that building, take out the building. UNCONDITIONAL means.....
NO talks
NO letters
NO meetings
NO problem

But, just my opinion

PEACE....THROUGH SUPERIOR FIREPOWER

Iraq is stalling for time,

Sodom doesn’t have the big one yet and he needs time to build it.

I say we go NOW, or very very soon

Saddam says that we can insepect his facilities. His ABOVE GROUND facilities. No thinks he has underground weapons plants that the UN will never see. The UN can inspect all they want, they're not going to stop Saddam from creating chemical or biological weapons. The only way to prevent that is a well aimed 7.62 bullet with the iraqi president's head in the crosshair.:rambo: :devious:

i have heard it many times, and i fully agree with it. sadam hussein is So Damn Insane. he will keep backing off once the threat of military force is present. we need to resolve this situation quickly and with much firepower. and this can only be done with the help of a few good marines.
