While our government seeks answers to 9-11, we seem to be looking for someone to place the blame on.

No American can be blamed for 9-11. How can we in this county fathom, or understood the mind of those bend on destroying us for who we are. We never saw terror as we have begun to understand it exists in the Middle East.

What occurred in FALLUJAH this week reveals the 9-11 hatred the Muslim world has for us as Americans.

We were not prepared for 9-11. How could we, have been? We live in a civilized world, with justice, freedom, morals, and a sense of respect for our fellow men. We fought for our freedom and enjoy it everyday.

We did not think that Muslims supported by countries that do business with us would attack us as they did. For those of us that have fought for freedom, fought along the side of other Marines we understand the hatred of an enemy who will kill innocent civilians to destroy us.

We have fought our wars with honor, and have used fierce destruction to protect ourselves because we love our freedom and we also love the fact that we are willing to fight for it. We are not a passive country and we can never again afford to be seen by the countries of the world as weak and vulnerable.

FALLUJAH, should show us that its time to go after those that have vowed to destroy us. We must do this, because this is the world the Muslim world created for us since 9-11.

It is a world we didn't want but now must fight against because if we fail to do so we become the prey the Muslim world saw as weak and vulnerable and that was us, before 9-11.

But since then the world as we knew it, has changed and like a grunt going off to war, we have changed. We are more matured now. Afghanistan, and even Iraq because what we are doing there is more right then it is wrong has changed us. Those wars and 9-11 has helped transform us from that innocent military recruit into the American warrior spirit that is found in our hearts today.

Today we continue to seek justice. We have not been satisfied with the enemy blood we have shed, because this war on terrorism has not ended. Because our enemy is still alive and bend on destroying us.

Today the nations of the world tell us to seek peace instead. But they want peace under the terms that would only make us weak once again. This we can no longer afford to do.

Just my thoughts.
