Name of Marine killed in Iraq released

SAN DIEGO – Military officials released today the name of a young Miramar-based Marine who died in combat this week in Iraq.
An enemy attack killed Lance Cpl. Jeffrey Burgess, 20, Thursday in the Al Fallujah region of the Middle East nation, according to the Department of Defense.
Burgess, of Plymouth, Mass., belonged to Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Wing Support Group 37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
