This is a program to use if you have access to a treadmill.
It's more like running uphill for a while, than you're running downhill.
It's close to two miles with a warmup and cool down of 10 minutes at the start and at the end, it close to three miles.
I was running at 1 to 2 degrees on the treadmill, so I sought a program to use on different days.
I'm running Monday through Friday...Saturday and Sunday, I'm riding my mountain bike.
Right now, I'm fighting a bad cold...won't be running till I get better...

No treadmill here, & I can't afford one, so I have to settle for the old fashioned method. Walking to the fridge for beer.
Honestly tho-we'd all do well to follow your example MillRatUSMC.

I can't afford a treadmill, that why I workout at the Fitness Center at our city's Civic Center...yearly cost for "Senior Citizens" 25 big ones or $25.00...we have everything, weight room, Racket and Hand Ball courts, swimming pool, sanuna, jacuzzi Basket Ball courts an indoor track 11 times is a mile.
The treadmills besides stationary bicycles, stepper, rower and strider beside free weight and weight machines are in the weight room.
I was working out years ago, but when the grandkids came along, I wanted to help raise them.
So it left little time to workout, I was gaining a great deal of weight.
My better half kept asking "When is the baby dued?" that when I decided to start working out again, better than taking high pressure pills...
Feel a whole lot better and the weight now is more muscle than fat...for a while there, I was at my weight-height standard.
These last holidays did me in...so it's back to working out.
But as you age it's a whole lot harder to lose what you gained...
