At sea, Sept. 14, 2001 — The Federal Republic of Germany's destroyer GFS Lutjens (D-185) comes alongside USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) while the ships were operating together. Members of the Lutjens crew are in dress uniform and are holding a sign which reads "We Stand By You" as they show their support and solidarity with the United States following the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center on Sept. 11.

Yes they do but only if benefits their country financially. The EU
sure seems to have forgotten what our country did in WWII.
Gee what the world would be like if we had not had to enter the war.I remember my grandfather (SGT Army/AirCorp France and England) telling me how much we were loved after the war.
Just shows how selfish some people can be,regardless of
history.

Had the whole world on our side, now we're essentially going it alone.

What did we have before with Clinton?

We had the whole world on our side---but we did nothing!

At least now we are in motion to fight terrorism.
