Anybody got the lowdown on Officer Training?
My wife is finishing a degree up here pretty soon and is looking at going in for a bit. I was hoping someone could give me some insight to pass along to her.
All depends on what aspect of training she is most curiouse about. A buddy of mine went TAD to OCS for 6 months and has told us a good bit of knowlege on it. Are you looking for more of the "training" stuff, or the "what should she do to get prepared stuff"? I know that they PT like madmen there. We work directly across the railroad track from them and I hear them all the time out there. As far as stress goes. They dont go through as much of the yelling as we do in PI and SD. However you can get dropped for anything in OCS. So she needs to have her crap tight and together. I say as long as she is in good shape and can keep her studies up, go for it.
