I heard that one can't ship off to MCRD if they find any cuts and/or bruises at MEPS. Is this true?

Depends on the severity. BUt usually it is only for deep bruises that are seriously Black, blue and yellow colored and cuts that have stitches sealing the wound. You also can't ship with a fever or a few other "small stuff" issues. Don't get bent out of shape on this one.
