I want to do more than Remember

I want to get even

I want to lay waste any Middle East Country that supports and harbors any Terrorist

I remember how they celebrated when Americans were murdered by hate based on their religious beliefs.

How they teach their children hatred toward America because of the freedom we enjoy

I don’t want to celebrate how we have recovered, but to remember the pain we felt

that if we are ever attacked again, the enemy will pay a heavy price.

That the enemy will be destroyed as will be his family and friends, and his country will pay a heavy price

I want to remember not what has been reconstructed but what was destroyed

will prevail as long as we remain united and strong, and value what we have lost

ONE

As the soot and dirt and ash rained down,
We became one color.

As we carried each other down the
stairs of the burning building,
We became one class.

As we lit candles of waiting and hope,
We became one generation.

As the firefighters and police officers
fought their way into the inferno,
We became one gender.

As we fell to our knees
in prayer for strength,
We became one faith.

As we whispered or shouted
words of encouragement,
We spoke one language.

As we gave our blood in lines miles long,
We became one body.

As we mourned together in great loss,
We became one soul.

As we retell with pride of
the sacrifice of heroes,
We became one people.

We are:
One color
One class
One generation
One gender
One faith
One language
One body
One family
One soul
One people

We are The Power Of One
We are United
We are AMERICA

This was handed out to our students here
at school this morning.

God Bless and Semper Fi!

Reality CHECK!! WE are none of the above except American. Personally I am
1. American born White
2. Lower middle class
3. 60’s generation
4. Male
5. Catholic, Franciscan
6. English speaking
7. Not part of any world family
8. I Don’t share my soul
9. And I am only One of many people
We are not the power of one; we are at odds with most of our fellow Americans
We are not United, we are divided by our race, class, generation, gender, language, and beliefs
And we are Not all American! Remember the boarder jumpers and the terrorists that did 9,11
Can’t sugar coat reality.
Semper Fi, To the Corps and a Patriot of America!
DEATH to ALL who Violate America!!!!and Our Freedoms!!!!
P.S. hows the Pledge of Allegiance coming???

I agree Sparrowhawk. Well put. I also believe that 'hate' can be guided and focussed on such a mission. I think it's good to have some hate. Not all consuming or irrational but just enough to stay focussed and remember why we are undertaking the task of eliminating terrorism.

Every day we should see what these 19 terrorists did on 9-11-01. We should see the planes filled with civilians ram two building filled with thousands of civilians. We should see the carnage of the buildings falling and the damage done to the Pentagon. We should see it and we should remember why we are now attacking.

Every day we should be told of the nearly 3000 people who died by the hands of these 19 terrorists. We should be told their names. We should be told of the lives that were shattered when fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters were to never come home again after 9-11-01

Every day we should be told about the muslims who, through out the world, will not stand up publically and denounce the actions of these 19 terrorists on 9-11-01.

Every day we should be told of the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters who are going into harms way because of the actions of these 19 terrorists on 9-11-01. That many of these heroic people will die in a just fight to protect the rights of the rest of the citizens of this great nation. To protect them against any further attacks by terrorists.

Every day we should be reminded that the American civilians who died on 9-11-01 were just like the rest of us. That this could happen anywhere at any time.

Every day we should be told that terrorists have cells in the United States and other countries waiting for a particular moment, a particular event for when they will strike again. We should be asked how many Days of Rememberances we need before we will take the matter at hand and end it once and for all.

Every day we should be reminded that Jihad Johnny helped to kill a Marine and CIA Agent. That Jihad Johnny made a choice to take arms against the United States. That the choice he made should very well have revolked his citizenship from the United States and that he should be sitting in Guantanamo Bay with the friends he chose.

Every day we should be reminded of the tragic events that lead up to 9-11-01. The two previous attacks on the World Trade Center. The bombings of the US Embassies in Africa. The bombing of the USS Cole in Yamen. We should be reminded that these were also United States citizens and that they too had families and friends who will miss them dearly.

We should be reminded that these attacks, while over seas, were on United States soil. That we, as a nation, had been attacked. That United States citizens died for us.

We need to be reminded, so we can stay focussed. So we can appreciate and respect the capabilities and willingness of our enemy to do us harm.

We should be told when the UN or Europe does not support us. When they think another way will be better. To give Iraq another chance. We should be told that they do not support us and we should ask, why should we support them?

We should be told of our allies who do fight against terrorism. We should be reminded that they are embattled as we are to safeguard their borders and their citizens. We should be reminded that it is our duty to stand by and support them, just as we expect them to stand by and support us.

How many of you thought we should attack after the USS Cole was hit? Or after the embassies were bombed? How many of you would have supported an attack after the US Army Ranger was stripped, beaten to death and dragged through the streets of Mogadeshu? How many of you think that when Iraq fires a missile at one of our aircraft in the No Fly Zone of Iraq, it is an act of war?

We need to be reminded of these things every day. It needs to be a part of our every day existance to exterminate all those who supported these attacks against us. It should be our duty to hold our government accountable to deport and/or prosicute anyone who is in this country illegally or here through immigration and is not loyal to our cause.

We need to remind each other that what we hold dear in this nation is good. That our rights and freedoms are unique in the world and that safeguarding them is paramount to our existance.

you put it together very well.

Its how I feel and how I wished those that are so passive in regards to administering justice to those that are terrorist would realize that tomorrow thie liberties and lives will be taken unless we do what we know is right.
