SAN DIEGO -- A Camp Pendleton Marine died during a water-survival drill Wednesday, it was reported.
The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. at the North County USMC, the base's public affairs office said. The Marine was a member of the Infantry Training Battalion.
The name of the Marine is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
