Like I said previously, sometimes I had an M-16, other times I had a M249 SAW. Outstanding pictures. I hope you kept notes too. You have the start of a good book here. It would also honor the men who didn't march home, like your friend Micheal. But, that is your call.

Were the gasmasks useful when beans were served in the mess?

Sgt of the Marines, great pics. Make sure you write the names now on the back of them photos, cause later you'll end up forgettin'em.

SgtofMarines thanks for sharing...Hamsters Worldwide...I have his brother, my son brought it for me. Love the Marine Corps Hymn.
My last rank was Staff Sergeant and my Hamster rank is that of a Sgt. of Marines.
Well I once held that rank, so I'll cherish it and get motivated listening to the Marine Corps Hymn.
We could almost make out the chronological order.
From following it with the embed reporter's reports.
