Mr Strombo was in my father's platoon, 6th Marines Scout-Snipers.

I am returning the flag my father had too, although I don't expect a trip to Japan.

I had the honor to talk with Mr. Strombo on the phone once several months ago. He still has that Marine Corps warped sense of humor. He told me a couple of funny stories about my dad too. He's old, but still sharp upstairs.
