Now this one should be easy,
Did you know that at one time Marines could go on liberty and take a weapon with them? Do you know what that weapon was?

Another thing, the reason the difference services adopted the color of their uniforms?

The Army adopted Brown, they fought on their bellies on the ground.
The Navy adopted White, if they fell overboard they could be spotted at night.
Now the Air Force adopted Blue, they wanted to be like Elvis and wear blue Suede shoes.
Last on the list, The Marine adopted Green, the color of a lean, mean fighting machine.

Sounds like something which would have happened during the Banana wars, or possibly in China, or the Philipines, and I'd bet it was a .45 cal pistol or revolver. However, I'm only guessing.

The sharpened belt buckle on their leather belts on their Winter Alphas...during and before WWII...
It was handy in fights against whom so ever...
That the reason they went to a cloth belt with a brass buckle instead of the leather....
