There have been several members here asking about the Chat Room. Some say it would boost up membership participation. We used to have it, and the ones that used it, still made posts on the forums. I would argue it would be good for the members that wish to communicate in that fashion. This is up for comments from both pro and anti members. I'm sure our brother Ed would help out on it.
I agree with you Billy. I believe a chat room, based on what I saw when it was active, and the desire by various members of the forum would be a welcome addition.
I also agree with you, that Ed would be the logical choice (more or less )to be the caretaker of the chat room. As far as taking posting participation down it compliment the posting.

I miss that chat room, made many a good friend, took many an insult, all in good fun.. certainly wasnt for the faint of heart...I know lots of people who would venture back if the chat room was there....it would be nice to have it back

I've also been hearing this from members, including myself.
Let's hear from other members and their input...
I'll put forth a proposal after gathering some more information..

not that I can speak for these people but Im sure if the chat room came back so would, Nelly,SupChf,NosBg,Artypig and many other regulars....work your magic Mike... hahaha...
As official junior left hand moderator guy, I know I'd use a chatroom when I do have time to park myself online. That isn't often these days, but I'm overdue for a "one on one" with management, so I'll bring it up too...

I know several members that quit coming on LN because the chat room left. I might even go in there to give character to it.

I'm usually only on the computer once or twice a day, and i don't have a smartphone, so while i think the chat room is a good idea, i honestly don't know if i would ever use it.
My question is; where is the chat master ED and his opinion? He *****es and *****es about wanting a chat room; and now that he has some support and the moderators are asking for validation of a chat room, and why we need it; he is as quite as a church mouse ****ing on cotton.

when i found this site/searching for HobartCobb
Since then , i've gained at least
another 400 plus "Friends" while chatting on
what used to be the chatroom here.
People who have not used the chatroom here
in the past, in most likely hood will not
use a chatroom here in the future .
There were times when the chatroom did
save a lot of time and energy helping
one or two people.

Chat room could be good, keep Billy from talking to himself, Ed I think Shaffer was a L/Cpl or did he get promoted on this site, Semper Fidelis.

cant say why they let it go, it was great to debate and talk and just bs each other for the hell of it some nights, do not understand why it wasn't fired up again back when they changed the whole format to this current one, never did understand why they would just let it go, i for one really miss it, felt like being there again with other brothers of the corp after a run or some late night action, just sitting around talking and being there with fellow marines who know where your coming from and don't require a lot of whys and wherefores. i say bring it back and lets chat again..
