Mitch is having a really tough time with his health. His outlook is not good at all. He's my brother as well as yours. He was a Sniper in Nam and is a very Honorable Marine. Please say a prayer for Mitch.

I'm praying for you my brother.
Good morning Marines, I hope this note finds you all well. Just got off the phone with Mitch, unfortunately he and I share a very similar medical history (except for the war part) and I know to well what he is going thru. What is amazing to me about Mitch and so many of the other Marines I have met either in person or here on LN is that even in this critical time in his life, all he is concerned about is his wife, sons, and family. Such an amazing, selfless perspective at a time like this. I join you all in praying for him, that the doctors come up with some miracle way to help him, and that this Marine can go on. GaryW

Gary, you forget that many of us have faced certain death and made our peace many moons ago. As a marine our first thoughts are to protect our loved ones and our brothers. That's not selfless, that's Marine.

Russ, we never thought about ourselves in battle.....it was always our brothers who came first. That is why our brotherhood is so strong. Mitch is that kind of Marine.
