Hey there Devils.
I've been out of the Corps for almost a year now and I find myself considering heading back to become an officer. While I was in, I had mostly, exemplary service. I made sergeant in less than 4 years, Received a JSAM, meritorious masts, good cookie, deployment, and plenty of people who will vouch for me on a letter of recommendation; however, I also have an NJP from early in my career for underage drinking. Additionally, I have an adverse fitrep w/ a 6105 on my last and only observed fitrep. I could shower you all with excuses on why I shouldn't have gotten one all day long, but in the end, my last deployment just wasn't my finest hour. I want to become an officer, and aside from that, my record is in good standing. That being said, I know that the Corps isn't always one for second chances. Does anyone have any insight as to what my chances are of being allowed into the officers program?
Thank you for your time.
