Tomorrow I am going to MEPS, but think I may get disqualified. I had an ingrown toenail removed Thursday. The recruiter said I won't be disqualified. The only problem is it hasn't completely scabbed over. Will this disqualify me? Or can I get a waiver for this?

The medical examiner said that all I needed was my documentation on the procedure and he would reevaluate my medical form. The doctors office faxed it to the Detroit MEPS. I was able to take oath and sign my enlistment contract! I appreciate all your advice, can't wait to earn the title of a United States Marine. Thanks again Marines!!
