How do you guys feel about the possibility of ISIS conducting an attack in the United States?

Just bought another gun and more ammo; bought a year's worth of survival food last month from Wise Food Storage to go along with the couple dozen cases of MRE's I already had; bought water bricks and a 50 gallon water storage container; will be having a natural gas home powered generator installed in March. Installed a home security system last year and surveillance cameras back in May.

I trust you have concealed carry of some type? We're much more likely to be attacked while we're out and about.

I conceal carry a 9MM Ruger and 2 extra magazines.

I also have plans to check out an ex-patriot community in Equador (retired MSgt friend of mine and his wife are selling everything and moving there). If stuff hits the fan here, Equador is just a short plane flight from Miami (I have a passport already). Checked it out on-line already but need to go there and see for myself. Appears to be a possible bug-out plan.

I think that if ISIS just concentrated on Washington DC nobody would bother them.

If they do hit DC, the white house specifically, I think I'll just yawn. Some here will most likely giggle.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/f5d43161/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Yes. It is Cuenca. Anxious to go see for myself.

Years before Isis was even thought of, I was carrying, daily, a .357 revolver, as I do every time I leave the house, for any reason.

I still like a 45, I guess it's a Nam thing.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/f5d43161/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

My .45 is shaped like a Glock, but it's with me everywhere I go.

And most of the time there's a rifle within fighting distance, wether I'm at work or at home, so that base is covered.

I thought about 45 for concealed carry, but went with 9mm and the nastiest load I could find: the Federal HST.

How did I ever guess? I ran into a lady one time at the airport who's husband was retired pilot, and they were living there. Told me about CUENCA and how popular it was becoming of an expat community. Sounds like a nice place. Eternal spring. So when you mentioned Cuenca, I just had a hunch.
