I had a question referring to staff selection board and a 6105. Our Sgtmaj had our division chief report all of the marines in the shop with tattoos and submit pictures in order to run pg 11 entries. However he is now deciding to run some as 6105s. I got a piece done on my calf back in 2010 before I was with this unit. I am in zone this year with the board convening next month I am wondering how this will effect me if it is not in my last fit rep. Thank you for any knowledge that can be passed.

A 6105 and a PAge 11 is pretty much the same thing. All they are is a formal counseling. It is the only form the Marine Corps has to show that a MArine has been formally counseled on an issue. I know of a few people who got page 11's when they have had to trade in old gear for new to show they had been issued the gear.

If it isnt a negative fit rep in my mind you would be good.. As long as said tattoos are within regs if not then stand by.
