I've been out of the Corps for 20+ years, and this one has been bugging me lately.
At 0500, Reveille (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Reveille_on_bugle.ogg) plays.
At 0800, the flag raising tune plays.
At 2200, Taps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Taps_on_bugle.ogg) plays.
What is that flag raising tune at 0800 called?

I believe it's actually simply "To The Colors." Being a bandsman, I've seen the sheet music from buglers and the full band arrangement of it.

My SSgt wrote me a glowing recommendation once for a meritorious Corporal board being help in Ramdi circa 2004...
That's as closes I got meritorious promotion so I feel your pain Blooper!
(Still have that writeup he gave me somewhere though, meant a lot to me)
