It didn't look like a 777. Did a little checking...the same video was posted on youtube on June 6 claiming it to be an Antonov AN-30.

I saw that too. Not sure of either vid as this is unconfirmed.

In either case, what is important is that someone shot down a commercial aircraft. Was it Russia? Was it Separatists? Was it Ukraine? Do you really think anyone will claim responsibility? Based on the evidence at the crash site, will there ever be a way of determining responsibility? It seems that if they take the jet's location, the angle of attack, and other visual evidence, and determine the approximate location of the missile site. Would that say anything about who did it? When I was in Iraq, they had teams that would go out to an impact site of incoming rounds. They determined what kind of weapon was used. Measured the size and shape of the impact. They used some fairly simple math to determine where the weapon was fired from and marked it as a potential target. With the use of computers, they should be able to determine from where the missile was fired.
