Today's Veteran of the Day is Clarence Wink. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1943-1945. He was assigned to the Marine Company on board the USS Pasadena (CL65) where he served as a 20mm gunner in the Pacific Theater and as part of the initial occupation force in Japan. Clarence was in Tokyo harbor when the Japanese surrendered in 1945.
