Hello Marines! I had a question I was hoping one of you could answer. I'm about to finish up here in comm school as an 0621 and I'd be going back home as a reservist with 4th ANGLICO. However, I wanted to help my recruiters back home until I started school in August. I found something called the Reserve Recruiter Aid (RRA) as described in MCO 1130.62B but I was wondering how would I start the process of putting in the paperwork for that and the chances of it getting approved? Thanks for any input!

Have you asked your Chain of Command ?

You can't ask your Chain of Command at school because they would not have anything to do with it.

It is RRA so you would have to wait until you get to your Reserve unit, check in and put in for it.

Thanks for all the input! I'll bring it up with my 1ST Sgt. when I check into my reserve unit next month!
