Cryptologic Linguist info

My son is preparing to enter the Corps, heading for boot next month (Jan). He just took the DLAB test and is qualified for the Crypto-Linguist MOS. I was hoping to get some info from some devil-dogs currently serving in that field. Sounds like a great opportunity for him, any advice? Thanks.
