I was in VMFA 312 from '68 to '71. I was wondering if anybody knows what type of a flight jacket the F4 Phantom pilots wore. Was it a MA-1 or a CWU-45P. All I remember was the color was Sage Green.

Gus, I was in MABS-32 70-72...

Mike, it was the MA-1.
You can find then on ebay new and used Brother.

I thought it was a MA-1 because the pocket flaps were back farther than the CWU-45P.

No MABS was Motor T and Heavy Equipment, Utilities ... not sure if supply fell under MABS... <br />
The only guard we did was that asinine Red Line Guard. I was an E-5 and was in charge of the guard detail...
