Awh schucks! Too late! I was H&S Co. cook/baker in 1957-8 at Camp Hansen Oki, had to bake in an old pizza oven, and the old 1937 burners. We had more fun in th em days we woke the troupes up by lighting our garbage can coffee heaters oh well I guess you would have to be their to know. Go to Sgt Grits Camp Hansen and you can see who I am.

Yep, all sounds familiar. When I was at Hansen, we were in a regular messhall, but did use those field burners/ovens etc., during our time at Mt. Fuji for 3-4 months.
