I'm planning on enlisting . I love everything about the Marine Corps and what they stand for , I want to be part of the few. I just want a little feedback , it would be greatly appreciated! I want a job that is not combat related, if I deploy then so be it, but I would like to be some sort of support not in direct fire . I understand every marine is a rifleman first , and I want the training that no other branch offers,. however the thought of combat intimidates me and makes me overthink , and I've heard so many stories about Marines who come back all messed up. and I do not know how I would handle it . or does the Marines totally change your perspective and turn you into a fearless warrior ? because I've considered going into infantry just for the fact of overcoming my fear . I'm not as young as a 18 year old who can sometimes just jump into infantry without really thinking about the after effect. please send me your thoughts , thank you
