Good Afternoon Gents,
I've been out for about 9 months now and I'm weighing whether or not to go back in. I know right now is not the time to try and get back in due to the massive manpower reduction the Marine Corps is going through, I also plan on finishing flight school first. I'm just looking down the road a couple years at my options.
My question is the difficulty and/or possibility of going back into active duty and doing a LAT move. I was a GSE Mech for 4 years and If I went back in the only job I have my sights set on is crewchief. I had heard that LAT moves were easier within the same MOS field (i.e. 60XX) is this true? Thanks in advance and sorry if this kind of an obtuse question.
