Most of what you believe about the Vietnam War isn't true. Foreign policy expert, Bruce Herschensohn, explains how the U.S. Congress turned victory in the Vietnam War into defeat.
North Vietnam had actually signed a peace treaty with us agreeing to terms where South Vietnam remained separate and independent. This is when our POW's came home. Our military WON in Vietnam. However, the US Congress refused to fund the peace agreement supporting South Vietnam. Oh yes, the Democratically controlled Congress.
