First and foremost I have to say thank you to all of the Ladies and Gentelmen on this site that have been so helpful.
Next week Wed. my son will be a Marine. He wrote us and said He shot expert with this site I found out he had to shoot a 220 out of 250 to earn that but I have also seen that he has to pass the shooting requierments the next week to maintain that and cant find any info about that.
any help would great.

Tell the Kid,"Congratulations" for us all will you ??

You've been here with him all the time...........
asking questions, telling what's been going on
in his process going thru his ordeal..

NO DOUBT, (Joking) you're gonna feel like a MOTHER,
"GIVING BIRTH" when he earns the title..

P.S. keep us informed, and thanks.

First off congrats to your son. Second, don't forget the Kleenex for graduation. And lastly be prepared for a cocktail of emotions that you have never experienced before, all positive. For me, nothing I have ever done in my life can compare to the feelings I had watching my son standing on the parade deck at graduation. It truly was unforgettable. I'm sure it will be for you as well.

Cheers

Oh, Ok.

2 phases. 1 based on 250 points, 1 based on 100 points.

In order to obtain " Expert " status the aggregate score for all rounds must stay between 305 and 350. Minimum passing score is 250.

We never shot at moving targets unless things have changed, Semper Fidelis.

Maybe he'll be like some of us and get to shoot at a lot of moving targets. You ought to hear them yell when you hit them. Just saying.

My son is currently in Pensacola Florida going through his schooling, he's in the "O" strand. I've been trying to find out a graduation date for his class. Any ideas where I can find this info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
