I currently have the 2 Years Green Card, will this DQ me from joining the Corps? I'm asking you this because some tell me I can't, some recruiters tell me I can. I'm currently an Applicant.
I also know I will become a US Citizen in Boot Camp.

Proof of legal residency

As far as I know, a 2 year green card counts as legal residency. Officer requires citizenship.

I don't think you become a US citizen while in boot camp or because you pass it.
Yes you become eligible for US Citizenship and the Marine Corps will pay all the fees. You become a US Citizen real quick because you are serving in the US Military.
I've seen pictures of Recruits in boot camp watching a video of Pres. B. H. Obama telling them about their Naturalization and the USCIS confirmed me this.
I've also read that you can enlist with the 2 years green card but can't ship out to boot camp if you haven't applied for "removal of conditions". But can't get it clear. Is there anyone in touch with a recruiter who can help me out on this?
