My Son is on his way to Fox Company in San Diego. He may be in the air right now... Anybody else's recruit headed there???

Just got the call from my son at PI! He sounded like he was in good shape. Anyone else have a son or daughter going into Fox or Oscar Co.?

We got the 10 second phone call from our son about 5:45 Tuesday evening (Fox Co. San Diego). I was thinking he musta go flustered and didn't get his call through. I thought the phone call was one of the first few things they did after getting off the bus, and expected the call late Monday night, or early Tuesday morning. That shows how much I know about it. He sounded good, that was the main thing. I can turn my phone off and sleep tonight...

We still have our son's call saved on our answering machine. And that was from August 2011. He was also at MCRDSD, Mike Co.

Travis, I wish we could have done that. How is your son doing now after a year and a half?

He is doing great. He is currently stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, NC. Thanks for asking and good luck to your son.

My son was sworn in yesterday and left for San Diego from Dallas. I thought we were going to get his phone call last night, but I had heard there have been a few groups that did not call so I just assumed he was one of those. Is there a chance he still might get to call?

This is one happy mom, he called at 2257pm dallas time. Only 10 sec., but it was AWESOME to just hear his voice. :-)
