Active Reserves

Talking with a PSR right now about getting into the Active Reserve program. Been in an IRR status the last 2 years. Looking for anyone who has gone this route either straight from active duty or from reserves.

Was it a quick and easy process? Were you pleased with where you ended up and did they take your choices of duty station into consideration.

I went Active to Active Reserve. It was pretty easy to get all the paperwork done because I had everything I need on the base I was at. It should only take like 2 to 3 months to get orders. You will have the oppurtunity to talk to the monitor so you can have a little say in were you go. I didnt really like were they put me but I am warming up to it.
