Looking for Deployment Opportunity

Hello everybody,

First of all, I'm an E3 in the reserves. I've been with my current unit for a couple months now, but I'm looking to get more experience. This weekend stuff just isn't cutting it. I'm looking for deployment opportunities somewhere overseas. Please help.

Google "global billets" first one should be a USMC or Marines.mil address

Use your chain of command, that is what they are there for. You may get gaffed off at first but be persistent, they may get annoyed but they notice you and it pays off. Another thing to be mindful of, be sure you are PME complete and have top notch scores on the PFT, CFT, and rifle range. That is how I got on my deployment.

Most of those billets SSgt. are for veteran NCO's and IRR/non-ob Marines. Been through those a few times.
