I'll place my money on the spartans for the time being. I've been seeing more and more weak, fat, undisciplined, or otherwise nasty Marines floating around my Corps. Once we clean it up, we'll be tougher than the Spartans again.

Spartans armed with a sword and a spear, Marines armed with a m-16 or an a-4 so if a Marine lets a Spartan get close enogh to use either a spear or sword then he is a very bad shot

And Drill Instructors thought boots were stupid; they taught ignorant pukes in 12-16 weeks what it took a Greek 13 years to grasp! Just saying................?

that picture/sketching in the first post made me think of a bad a$$ tattoo idea
What is it they say about a boot? Lock him in a sealed room with two ball bearings and in an hour he will break one and lose the other? LOL!

I'm going With the Spartans... In the mother 300 it seems like they were more happy to die honorable rather than killing the enemy... That's just nuts.
