Looking for Richard W. Smith

I'm looking for Richard W. Smith. He was my best friend. We went through Boot Camp at Parris Island from late Jan. !968 until early April. We were in platoon 210. We went to Camp Geiger for ITR after that. After leave we went to the Naval Air Station at Memphis. After school he was sent to Beaufort. We lost touch somehow and I haven't been able to locate him since. Smitty was from Pensacola FL. It's been 44 years and I still think of him and the friendship we had very often. I'm hoping someone out there knows Smitty and can put me in contact with him. Thanks.

Wow, there's gotta be a heck of a lot of Richard/Dick Smiths out there.

I do know of a Dick Smith that served in the Corps and I am sure he was in during the 70's but I don't know his exact tour dates or if he joined when you did.
