I thought I'd share this. I ran across a man yesterday and I remarked about his bumpersticker, a Marine scout/sniper sticker that says "You can run but you die tired." He looked about 50. I asked him if he had been a Marine S/S. He said he had been a sniper with Motor T. I asked him his MOS and he said something that started with 35.
Not having been a sniper I didn't feel qualified to challenge him too vigorously but I think I made him squirm a little.
They are still out there apparently.
3531 is a Motor T Driver..
Deadliest unit in the Corps was those Motor T snipers!!!!! LOL

Hey, I was in Motor T, and I was a DM -- so, can I call myself a Motor T DM/Sniper.
It sounds whoaa.
People never seem to freaking amaze me anymore. :devious:

That was my first -- open contract babay!
But I picked up 5 more along the way,,, didn't get one for being a DM, though.
7mm+ at 2600fps or a 2-1/2 at 55mph; toes up is toes up! S/S just doesn't have the paperwork or have to wash the front of his equipment!

I thought every 3531 had a secondary MOS of 3599, Bullet Magnet.

He earned the title evidently, just wanted to glamour it up. Not only disreputable to the men who've trained up through these tough courses but pretty sad when Marines can't be proud of just being Marines.
