For the past two days, it's taking several minutes for a page to load. What's going on?

The powers that be have been notified.I only had problems loading with Internet Explorer,Firefox has no problems for me and loads everything within a second or 2.

FWIW -- There was definitely something going on with the site. It appears to be fixed now, but between home and work I run IE, Firefox and Chrome, and it happened with all of them, only at this site.

Has anyone ever heard of server problems now and then?
Every web site goes thru it at one time or another.

It's the annoying pop-ups and ads...

Using Internet Explorer; cleared all cookies, ran registery cleaner twice, cleared all temp files, sent Schaffer an E-mail about same. This is the only site I am experiencing difficulties with.

Patience? Never knew many Marines that had much. I just wish someone who has the authority to make corrections, would do so, and quickly.

"Beatings will continue Untill Morale IMPROVES"

Just as luck will have it, i've been working on a couple
computers for the last couple days..
SO, i had a hand full of them to Wage Seige onto leatherneck
to see what was getting $hitz and giggles from leatherneck here on the internet.
AT one point this morning , nothing was really working ( 0300 DST )
Leatherneck was locked tighter than the "balls on a brass monkey"
and the site is still funky with a couple versions of different BROWSERS..

Right now, i'm on Linux/Ubuntu for an operating system..and using version 9.10 running firefox v3.5.3. thru-put on the LAN is close to 100MPS...
browsers i've used today have included offby1,k-meleon,firefox, I E., Opera,
and a couple right now i cant remember..
and i've used windowsXP, windows 7, and
everything choked the chicken ,,
SO i guess the site was down ???

while playing ,, i've found half what my complaints about this site are caused by.....-- - Sorta kinda...

They're showing a Drive-In Sized picture here on leatherneck,,, and I've
been up in front, looking thru a knot hole in the fence.....

Most all the fun on this site has been taken out of it...
Not intentionally ...., but still......
Two more ( UPGRADES ) on the site, and you won't be able to see it
with less than a 30" monitor, set on Wide Screen@ ten bazillion BPS.

I think the lights are out in chat....
IF it wasnt for laughing at one or two "Village Idiots"
in the forum,,,I'd just be down to a blurb once in awhile
in the war room..
