So my answer was to confirm that, yes, it was filmed in 1989.

But understanding your question now, what you are asking it appears is whether this 1989 Making of a Marine video is the one aired on the military channel, I believe the answer to that is, no, it is not.

The 1989 video/DVD is a bit less than an hour long, and from my research, the "Making Marines" series shown on the Military Channel is just short of three hours. If you are looking to purchse the one from the Military Channel, google "miitary channel making Marines or Making of a Marine, and there are several sources where it is available.

Okay. Well...sorry, can't help you there. Only one I located from Military Channel is the one at Parris Island.

I did come across one from 1999 that was a series on the Discovery Channel, but it is not the one you posted.
