Back in April, the Marine Corps Times posted an article about General Amos standing up a battalion of specialized law enforcement officers and investigators in the Marine Corps Reserve:

As a full-time police officer and on call bomb squad technicial, this really interests me but I can't seem to find anyone with any knowledge of it other than a select few that have read the article. I've talked with the prior service recruiter in my area as well as two guys I used to work with that were in the recruiting field but none of them had ever heard of this.
I just wanted to put it out there and see if anyone has any other information other than what's in the article or might know where I can go find some more info. It's been almost a year since that article but maybe this whole deal is still too new.
