OCC Question

Marines,

I have searched the forums for the answer to this question and have come up empty-handed. I have wanted to serve in the military ever since childhood. I graduated college in May 2010 and began the process of applying for OCC in November 2010. I had to wait a while for my medical waiver to clear, which it did about a week ago.

I am going Aviation, so I need a flight physical. Does anyone know what the timetable is for this? Also, do I have any chance at making the May or October classes? Any help is appreciated.

Regarding which class you may be able to go to, it is hard to say these days. From what I hear, there is much more of a wait than when I went through. It depends on when the board meets, and how many are currently in line. Your OSO could probably give you a better read than us.

No idea on the flight physical -- I'm assuming it would need to be done before you submit your package since you're trying to go air contract.

I just found out that my flight physical is in mid-February.
