Just a reminder that the Army Navy Game will be played this Saturday and televised on CBS. While neither team has a winning record or will be playing for a national championship it remains an American classic. It's the good guys playing the good guys with both teams giving 110% effort to beat the other team. Once they graduate, they will be on the same team giving a minimum of 5 years service to America.

This year is unique because CBS and Showtime have collaborated in making a 2 hour doucumentary on both Army and Navy, A Game of Honor. It will be televised on Showtime December 21st. If you google search Game of Honor you will find that there have been a series of teaser clips produced and posted to the CBS website.

In watching the clips for the past few weeks, it's apparent that it's much more than just football. The whole Academy experience will be a major part of the show.

Bumping this thread because "Game of Honor" will be broadcast tonight on Showtime. I believe the broadcast time is 22:00 hrs EST. You will have to do the math for your particular time zone.

The Naval Academy class of 2012 will graduate and commission about 270 officers as Marine Corps 2nd Lt. in May. This represents around 16-18% of Marine Corps officers commisioned will come from the Naval Academy. These kids have chosen a unique path, and while the story will be told from a football perspective, the teaser clips seem to show a good perspective on what a typical cadet or midshipman goes through over their 4 years.

Camp Barrett and Marine Corps service selection is a featured segment.
